Transitions for Children and Adults with Fragile X

June 25, 2013

Flower for bullets
Ready for a road trip to St. Louis? Our neighbor, the Fragile X Resource Center of Missouri, is hosting another one of their awesome conferences/seminars. Before our Kansas group started, they were our only source for regional educational opportunities. We still love to support their efforts, get away for a day, and learn valuable information.

Many of you came to our conference at KU Edwards Campus, which featured Mouse, Tracey and Cindi Rogers.  They are the speakers for this one, and it’s FREE!  The only cost is $10 for lunch.   If interested, please register at this First Giving link and let us know you’re going. Maybe we can form a carpool!

Hotel Information from Kim at FXRCM:
This hotel is close to the St. Louis Arc :). It is right off of 270 & Olive Blvd.  You can take Olive Blvd. all the way to Warson Rd. which is where the Arc is.  I am not good with miles, but I would guess it is less than 10 minutes from the St. Louis Arc.  This is a very safe a friendly area:)
I hope this helps!  There are also a few hotels in the West Port area…however I know those prices will be quite a bit higher due to there location.  The Creve Couer area (which is where the Drury Inn is located is fairly reasonable.

I just signed up for their emails which offer discounts.  You might try this too.
Thanks & please let me know if I can help any further.
